We put a lot of time and effort into them, and so we hope you find them useful. Please go ahead and read on…

Our Resources for Musicians

Band & Artist Websites

The following section lists the official websites of some of our favorite Pinoy music artists. Clicking on any of them will open a new browser window.

  • The Dawn Official Site. The country’s greatest rock band. ‘Nuff said.
  • Official Eraserheads Site. Together with Rivermaya, the E-head’s music was everywhere on FM radio for close to a decade. Their contribution and influence to local music cannot be underestimated. We rank their songwriting so high up there, only the Beatles can compare. Too bad it all had to end too soon… :(
  • Rivermaya.Net – The Official Rivermaya Website. Rivermaya has evolved to become one of the most influential bands in the industry today. Their songs, many of which are inspired, carefully crafted, and intelligently written, have influenced an entire generation of Filipinos the world over.
  • Cynthia Alexander. Oh man! We still remember when Rippingyarns hit us so hard that even now we are still mesmerized by the album’s musicality. Cynthia is a musical genius who takes pop art into dizzying new heights!
  • www.southborder.net. Soulful tunesmiths as ever, they give class to the typical nauseating sound of R&B.
  • slapshock.com. Powerful and bludgeoning, their music seems to destroy everything in its path. 4th Degree Burn reminded us of our experience when we first listened to Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All back in 1983. They give traditional heavy metal a fresh new face. Totally cool!
  • Official Site of Perf de Castro. Perf is one of a very few who combine dazzling technique with fiery passion in his playing. Truly a guitarist par excellance!
  • Lea Salonga. Such elegance, such panache! For us, she is still the only one who never goes out of tune. She could hit every note with perfect intonation without ever sounding like an opera singer at all. Her singing style proves that simplicity overpowers flying pyrotechnics every single time. Lea is a world-class artist that has brought respect and pride to every Filipino today.
  • Jamie Rivera: The Official Website. Her voice is both fragile and powerful at the same time. Jamie has serenaded us with her sexy, soothing voice for more than a decade now. And she’s still as pretty as ever!
  • Gary Granada’s Homepage. One of the finest and most respected Filipino songwriters ever. The maestro has certainly been one of the great pillars of the music industry for decades, and continues to do so in his unassuming, idiosyncratic way. Surely an inspiration for us all!
  • The Official Mushroom 5 Site. The band that launched our careers. Good friends of ours and great music for all!
